Ted Williams and his golden voice, also known as the most famous NBA voice that never was, is getting a second chance.

Online reports say Golden Voiced Ted Williams was nabbed for a reality series, Second Chances at Life. The television show will track his recovery from addiction, homelessness and, yes, that ugly fame monster. A network has not been identified yet to air the series.

Just when you thought there were 15-minutes, apparently there are hours of fame left on the clock for Ted Williams.

In January, the Cleveland Cavaliers showed interest in hiring Ted Williams after his YouTube video went viral. The company stayed committed to pursuing employment opportunities for Williams, who was homeless, after his struggle with addiction was made public. Things went from bad to worse after an incident between Ted Williams and his daughter ensued as the two were taking for Dr. Phil in Los Angeles.

The Cavs seemed committed to Ted Williams, but it’s not clear if the feeling was mutual. Hopefully, Williams can get his life back on track.
